The CG Heat 12u and 14u will be participating in the Disney Pacific Citrus Classic in California on October 10-12, 2008. More information will be distributed in the upcoming weeks as far as fundraisers and travel arrangements. So please mark your calendars for this event.
The CG Heat 10u and 12u will be participating in the Western Nationals to be held in Phoenix.
The tournament will be held from July 27-August 2nd at the Rose Mofford Complex. Currently there are 28 teams in the 12u division and 8 in the 10u division. More information will be distributed this week.
The CG Heat '96 team went undefeated and took first place at the TCS Tournament in Oklahoma City, OK. They went undefeated with a record of 6-0 and played teams from Kansas, Texas, Missouri and Colorado.
The CG Heat '96 team took first place at the 16th Annual John McGonigle tournament in Phoenix at Rose Mofford Tournament. They played Lil Saints in the championship game winning 18-11. The championship game was highlighted by Victoria Belloc's homerun over the left-center field fence.

All age divisions of the Casa Grande Heat organization played in the Tucson ASA Spring Fever Tournament held at Lincoln and Golf Link Parks in Tucson.
The 10u team lost in the Championship to the '97 Az Cats.
The 12u team had a record of 4-2 before losing in the semi-finals.

All age divisions of the Casa Grande Heat organization played in the Phoenix ASA Junior Olympic Spring Classic held at Rose Mofford Park in Phoenix.
The 10u team posted a record of 3-1-1 losing to Team Arizona in the semi-finals. They beat EV Pride-South, EV Pride-Gonzo, Tucson Scramblers then tied with Desert Kaos.
The 12u team had a record of 4-2 and reached the championship game by coming back to win 6-5 in extra innings against the Wacker Softball Academy. The 12u then played the '95 Thunderhawks and lost 11-1 while committing 7 errors.
The Casa Grande Heat 10u and 12u teams played in the Triple Crown Sports Gold Glove Tournament held at Rose Mofford Park in Phoenix.
The 10u team won the championship beating the Az Cats '97 team in a close game with a score of 8-7. It was a complete turn from the day before where the 10u lost all three games, then went undefeated the next.
The 12u team posted a record of 2-1 only losing to Shockwave 4-0.
